Aftermarket Service Manager, U.S.A.

Magaldi Technologies, a subsidiary of Magaldi Power S.p.a., has an exciting opportunity for an Aftermarket Service Manager that would be responsible the warehouse, shipping/receiving along with budgeting, managing and growing service activities and parts sales throughout North America.

  • Aftermarket Sales and Service Growth:  Develop and implement service and spare parts growth strategies in order to maximize aftermarket sales revenues   America in coordination with the Service Director.  
  • Spare Parts Management:  Coordinate and assist when necessary with stock, shipping, receiving and customer order management.
  • Budgeting:  Prepare the annual budget for spare parts and service. He will assign and control the annual budget of each Service Engineer in his team. He will responsible, with the support of the service Engineer, for the periodically forecast during the year.
  • Documentation: Create, manage and update work instructions, the financial and customer management systems (CRM & ERP – SAP) and other documentation as required. 
  • Customer Satisfaction:   Insure that customers throughout North America are happy with their Magaldi supplied equipment and that it is running to its optimal level through pro-active visits and regular communication.
  • Safety:  Insure the warehouse and field service team are in full compliance with company and all local, state and national EH&S standards
  • Troubleshooting:  Be the local technical service expert when it comes to diagnosing faults, repairing equipment and recommending preventative maintenance.


We require

Reporting To:  General Manger with functional reporting to Service Director.
Experience:  10+ years in industrial maintenance, service and parts management.  Ideal candidate will have foundry and/or power plant experience. 
Degree Required:  Technical degree preferred and/or equivalent experience.
CAD Capabilities:  AutoCAD knowledge and ability preferred.  Must be able to read engineered drawings.
Software :  SAP, Lotus Notes knowledge  and ability preferred. Must be able to use Microsoft Office software:  Word, Excel, Project.
Travel:  Approximately 30-40%.

Language Requirements:  English fluency required. Spanish ability preferred.
Work Hours:  Normal hours of operation in most cases, but responsible to lead the team to respond to off-shift and emergency service/spare parts requests and to support customers that operate 24/7 operations.
