Wet-to-Dry conversion at Renwu WtE Plant

Magaldi is successfully completing the erection and commissioning of the cutting-edge Ecobelt® WA system, chosen to replace the existing wet bottom ash handling system.
This project is part of an initiative by Veolia Taiwan’s JV, Onyx Ta-Ho Environmental Services, in charge of O&M at the Renwu plant, to renovate the facilities under its operation. In addition to Renwu, Ta-Ho operates almost 50% of WtE plants in Taiwan. 

One of the key advantages of the Ecobelt® WA system is its remarkable ability to eliminate water usage, a critical factor in today’s environmentally conscious world.
By utilizing the advanced Superbelt® conveying technology, the Ecobelt® WA ensures that the bottom ash handling process is not only sustainable but also highly efficient and reliable. Its robust design and state-of-the-art features significantly reduce downtime, resulting in optimized power generation and enhanced overall plant performance.
