Ultra-competitiveness goes through Magaldi in Nissan Cantabria

As part of the "Ultra Competitiveness 2020-2023" plan launched by the Japanese parent company, Nissan Cantabria received funding to promote the technological modernization of their Spanish foundry located in Los Corrales de Buelnas. This led to Magaldi being awarded a turnkey order for two (2) Superbelt® conveyors to serve the new DISA vertical molding line.

The first conveyor loads the shot-blasting machine placed 5 meters high, while the second conveyor is installed downstream to transport sprues, runners, and gates to the scrap collecting bay. The first section of the conveyor features reversed sidewalls to ensure safe and ergonomic casting sorting and degating.
