Feralpi Siderurgica: a step forward in Circular Economy with the Superbelt® HD technology

Our Superbelt® technology has played a crucial role in Feralpi Siderurgica’s SteelZeroWaste project, streamlining the scrap handling process and helping reduce the environmental impact of steel production.

As stated by Giampaolo Foglio, Feralpi’s Lonato del Garda Steel Plant Manager, the Superbelt® conveyor used to transport 200 t/h of steel scrap from the treatment area to the scrap yard has helped eliminate the need for approx. 10,000 trucks per year. This impressive feat has not only reduced traffic flow and enhanced safety but has also significantly reduced the plant’s carbon emissions.

We, at Magaldi, are committed to providing sustainable solutions that help companies like Feralpi Sderurgica achieve their environmental goals while also improving their bottom line.
