Magaldi Technologies, a subsidiary of Magaldi Power S.p.a., has an exciting opportunity for a Service Engineer that would be responsible to help grow the service activities and parts sales throughout North America. In order to accomplish these goals, the Aftermarket Service Engineer would be responsible to make periodic and scheduled visits to customers in order to check the performance of the installed equipment, support the customers via email and phone calls, identify any new business opportunities and monitor the level of customer satisfaction with regard to company products /services.
To be successful in this role, the individual must be able to think under pressure, be customer focused, self-motivated, organized, enjoy problem-solving and not be afraid to get their hands dirty.
Reporting To: Aftermarket Service Manager.
Experience: 5+ years in industrial installation, commissioning, maintenance and service. Ideal candidate will have foundry and/or power plant experience.
Degree Required: Technical degree preferred and/or equivalent experience.
CAD Capabilities: AutoCAD knowledge and ability preferred. Must be able to read engineered drawings.
Software : SAP, Lotus Notes knowledge and ability preferred. Must be able to use Microsoft office software: Word, Excel.
Travel: Approximately 65-75%
