Magaldi’s two manufacturing plants are based in Buccino, the family's hometown.
The oldest factory is located in the heart of the ancient Volceian town. Here, the Magaldi buffalo leather belt called Supercinghia has been produced since 1929, at first used as a power transmission belt and later employed to handle sheared metal sheets and metal stamping parts.
Initially, leather chrome tanning was carried out in wooden drums inside the factory to transform the raw hides into a durable and valuable material. Today, workers handle leather that has been previously tanned, and use the machine - still on and running - invented and built by Paolo Magaldi at the beginning of the twentieth century to cut the leather in a spiral to obtain a single long strip. Thanks to the change of use, the production of the Supercinghia has continued for over 90 years and the particular construction technique has been handed down from generation to generation.

The modern production plant is located in the industrial area of Buccino and covers an area of 55,000 square meters, 26.000 of which are covered.
The roof of the building is entirely covered by a photovoltaic system that generates 2 MW of clean energy used for self-consumption.
Magaldi core technologies are manufactured exclusively in this modern plant, which uses state-of-the-art machinery and follows the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) method to guarantee the highest quality standards, comply with environmental regulations and ensure a livable work environment.
A high level of vertical integration enables having full control over the product's quality and achieves sustainable management thanks to the careful use of resources in the production process.
An area of the plant is devoted to R&D activities: a proof-of-concept, prototyping, trial, and tests to validate the models developed in the product design stage.
