Sales Engineer


  • Responsible to identify, select, form and manage, in agreement with the Sales Director and the CEO,all the agents, representatives and sales partner to gather precise and accurate information regarding the assigned market area.
  • Responsible to visit all customers of the assigned portfolio to promote new products and gathering all technical and commercial data necessary to achieve a Sale.
  • Able to organize and manage trade shows, conferences, commercial events for the assigned areas in agreement with the Sales Director.
  • Responsible for the processing of all data regarding customers and related projects by using the company's operative systems and adhering to the procedures of Magaldi Quality System.
  • Cooperate or prepare with other partners all technical and commercial proposals including estimated costs necessary for the execution of the project. For this purpose, if necessary, it will be required a period of time on the designated location where the project is taking place to evaluate local supplier's proposals.
  • Able to identify together with the Technical Dept., all the necessary solutions to technical and economic issues that best satisfy the customer's needs.
  • Send and negotiate the proposals with the customer and finalize orders.
  • Report to the Sales Director the market situation for the assigned area by emphasizing action plan and commercial visits taken.
  • Responsible to prepare and update its own sales budget each quarter.
  • Monitor closely what the competitors are doing on the assigned market area and inform the Sales Director and CEO.

  • Process improvement & team leadership experience.
  • Successful working with outside Customers, Sales, and internal project teams.
  • Some travel required away from assignment location.
  • Sensitivity to Customer needs and awareness of Market conditions.
  • Fluency in English Languages; Fluency in additional languages would be an asset.
