Responsibilities

• Ensure that the electrical erection is delivered in accordance with the technical documentation, the good engineering practice and in a safe and timely manner;
• manage the team of workmen of the Company awarding the Contract;
• follow up and maintain the forecast activities time scheduling and, in case of delays, individuating their causes and promptly acting in order to minimize their effect;
• maintain site safety on the on site operating organization;
• ensure that all Company Quality procedures are followed;
• report any missing material or manpower resources required for the work;
• attend and report on site meetings with client & other contractors/partners;
• maintain an accurate daily site log;
• give assistance during the start-up and commissioning phase;
• close out site as required by the contract and Indian laws.

Qualifications

• Must have an electrical / instrumentation background education. The Electrical Engineering Degree would be an asset but not essential, since experienced people are to be preferred above all;
• previous on site experience with industrial electrical installations following company's procedures;
• self-contained and strong-minded individual;
• fluent English both spoken and written;
• working knowledge of average West Bengal contract conditions;
• computer literate in an isolated environment
