In a typical configuration of the dry mill rejects conveyor, the material may be conveyed from the tanks to the downstream bucket elevator. The conveyor has a high-temperature resistant belt conveyor and a structure which minimises the release of coal dust into the atmosphere.

The bucket elevator delivers the material into the storage silo. From the silo the rejects are discharged onto trucks for final disposal.
