The Magaldi Superbelt has gained a wide and successful experience in hot ash handling by its application in the MAC (Magaldi Ash Cooler) system for dry bottom ash extraction from pulverized coal boilers

The FLUIMAC system has shown its maturity through its application in power plants of widely varying size:

2x75 TPH steam in Tuopai Heat & Power plant (Sichuan province, China, 2002)

2x135 MWe in Jiawang Power Station (Jiangsu province, China, 2003)

With these FLUIMAC systems, the bed ash is extracted from each boiler with 2 FLUIMAC extractors. Downstream of the FLUIMAC extractors, the ash is collected by Magaldi Postcooler conveyors that convey the ash to a storage bin, from where the ash is transported pneumatically to the fly ash silo.
