Italy is the Country of the Sun
The Sun is continuously generating an incredible quantity of energy, coming from internal nuclear fusion, which radiates in the space and reaches our planet in the form of electromagnetic radiations. The power which arrives from our star is estimated to exceed 15,000 times the world's current energy needs and has been and will be flowing as such for billions of years, consenting the birth and subsistence of life. In Italy, for instance, which from centuries is defined as the "country of the sun", a surface of 2 m² located in its southern part is receiving an energy from the Sun equivalent to the annual consumption of an average family (about 3,000 kWh).
RRS S.r.l. (Magaldi Group) is offering clients the exploitation of this form of energy, by engineering, developing, installing and maintaining photovoltaic systems, which use solar PV modules to convert sunlight into electricity with a certain efficiency. The installations provided consist of multiple components, including solar modules, inverters and transformers, together with all mechanical and electrical connections, supports and output controllers.
In Italy, there is currently a bold governmental initiative to encourage the usage of PV modules in the form of a feeding tarif being granted for 20 years from the installation startup. This initiative is named "Conto Energia" and is aiming to install 1200 MW of PV energy.
Last year and during the first months of 2010, due to an extremely rapid return of the investment, there was a sort of "gold rush" to obtain permissions and grants under this scheme, which, at the current rate of requests, is going to reach the goal in few months, ending the extremely favorable subsidy. It is likely that this scheme will be extended, but with a sensible reduction of the current subsidies.
RRS S.r.l. can provide full assistance to clients by entering in this scheme, providing administrative, technical, financial and operational support, thanks to the broad experience made in this field, with the installation of several PV plants, the biggest one being of 2 MW.
