Refused metallurgical coke transportation: how to convey 1100 Celsius degrees material

Magaldi has been awarded by Fluor Enterprises, Inc. for the construction of a prototype conveyor that will be used for hot metallurgical coke transportation.

The Magaldi Superbelt® conveyor has been chosen for its unique feature of resistance to high temperature. The metallurgical coke is evacuated at an average temperature of 1100 °C.

The plant will be built in Summerville and is owned and operated by Showa Denko Carbon.

Another challenging development of the Magaldi Superbelt® conveyor!

The installation will start at the end of June.
