Magaldi Power has been awarded of a supply contract for the GMR EMCO TPP 2x300 MW TPP power project for two MAC systems.

GMR EMCO is a fully owned subsidiary of GMR ENERGY LTd. one of the more active player in the India  fast growing market of Power.

The contract covers the design, engineering, supply and supervision for the installation of a dry bottom ash at GMR coal fired power plant:  the system will allow to the plant owner the saving of large amounts of water and reduce drastically the environmental impact.

The contract, which is scheduled to be completed in the second semester of 2011, will be executed by INDURE Pvt,  which is the ash handling plant Main Contractor, and among the most important Indian companies in the ash handling business.

With a total number of nine installation in the country  Magaldi Power confirms its  position of market leader in India for dry bottom ash handling.
