The RRS is an Italian market leader in Turn Key installation of large photovoltaic plants architecturally and totally integrated on the roof of large industrial buildings, as well as an important contractor in design and supply of electric and automation systems. In addition, it operates industrial plants under BOT contracts - Build Operate and Transfer - to Power and Chemical industries.

RRS S.r.l. was established in 1998 by the Magaldi Group to execute B.O.T. contracts. During the years RRS has installed and operated several Magaldi systems under its full responsibility, carrying out Magaldi Group's activities in the design and development of MV-LV Power Distribution & Control Systems and automation.

A dedicated Control System and software called MISS (Magaldi Integrated Supervision System) has been developed and patented by RRS and is now used in many MAC systems worldwide.

As of today, RRS main focus is in designing, developing and installing photovoltaic systems, providing customers with a total assistance in obtaining permits for plants turn keys solutions. Among the most representative projects realized by RRS, the largest photovoltaic plant on roof of Southern Italy, totally integrated, having an installed capacity of 2 MW, built on the roof of the Magaldi Buccino manufacturing factory. This plant is made by 9,000 architecturally integrated photovoltaic modules over a covered area of about 18,000 m².

The system ensures the annual production of 2,500 megawatt hour (MWh) of electricity, which is fed into the grid thus avoiding atmospheric emissions of 1.5 million kg. carbon dioxide.

The RRS also offers retail market innovative products and solutions in the energy field, such as the Photovoltaic Shelter, with a power of 20 kW.
